Write for Pulso

Pulso is written by its readers' peers: licensed doctoral clinicians writing under their own names and credentials, in the language they write best. Contributors are never asked to open an account on the publishing system. You submit, you revise with the board, you approve the final proof. Pulso handles the rest.

Send the words. We handle the edit, the visuals, and the layout, then send you the finished piece for review before it publishes. Contributors submit text only: visuals are never requested from contributors, and they never hold up publication. For your profile, the monogram panel is the default. A photo is optional, and is only added when you are featured.

How it works

  1. Send a pitch or a full draft through the submission form below.
  2. The publisher screens for credential, fit, and patient privacy.
  3. Two board members review against the rubric: evidence, an actionable takeaway, voice, and the standards.
  4. Revisions, a copyedit, and your approval of the final proof.
  5. Publication, with your profile in Profiles and your name on the piece.

Contributor states, communicated by email: Received, In review, Revisions requested, Accepted, Scheduled, Published, or Declined.

Read the editorial standards before you submit.
