Janice Crespo Salgado, MD

Janice Crespo Salgado is a pediatric nephrologist at the University Pediatric Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her clinical work covers congenital renal and urologic disorders, pediatric chronic renal failure and dialysis, and childhood hypertension. She completed her pediatrics residency at San Juan City Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at Louisiana State University, and she has published research on the intestinal microbiota in pediatric patients with end-stage renal disease.
